El Secretario de Estado, Anthony Blinken ha condenado enérgicamente el asesinato del candidato presidencial ecuatoriano, Fernando Villavicencio ocurrido ayer.
Manifiesta que están listos, para ayudar a las autoridades de Ecuador en temas de investigación y así castigar a los responsables de ese crimen.
Fernando Villavicencio fue un periodista de investigación, quien el 20 de agosto participaría en las elecciones presidenciales.
We strongly condemn the assassination of Ecuadorian presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio and offer our condolences to his family and to the people of Ecuador. We stand ready to support local authorities to bring the perpetrators of this heinous act to justice.
